A little background on my booty:
I've been trying to build a butt for about 3 years now and I've finally learned how to by trial and error. I've been squatting a lot, all different kinds of booty targeting (let me know if you want a leg day blog!!) and heavy weight (slowly worked myself up to it)!!
However, recently my hips have been hurting a lot after leg day at the gym. I asked a friend who is a personal trainer of mine if he could watch me do the exercises while we work out to make sure my forum was right, and it was, here is the correct forum and then I explain the new forum.
Toes pointed forward, shoulder width apart,
With your back straight,
Butt out,
And go down as if you are sitting on a chair,
Go as low as you can, making sure your knees do not pass your toes
Push back up with the pressure on your heels!
He taught me a new way to squat that:
1: helps target the booty more
2: doesn't put all that pressure and heavy weight all on your hips!
New forum:
Point your toes a little outward, shoulder width apart
Arch your back,
Stick out your butt like your closing a door with your butt,
Squat down like your sitting on a chair, making sure your knees do not pass your toes,
Push up with your heels.
Two simple adjustments and boom, my hips don't hurt as much anymore and BONUS! IT TARGETS YOUR BOOTY EVEN MORE THAN REGULAR SQUATS!! WIN WIN 💁🏻☺️
